Fakhr El-Din This is one of Amman's best Middle-Eastern restaurants – so good, in fact, that a reservation is "a must". A favorite of Jordanian officials and Arab diplomats, Fakhr El-Din does not come to your attention. The restaurant is in the elegant home of the 1st Prime Minister of Jordan, off Second Circle and features a wide variety of Lebanese type specialties including many not often seen in Amman's restaurants. Prices are reasonable although wine can double the price of the meal. Service is excellent and very professional Fakhr El Din will open its outside dining area in mid-May. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

During the first days of this year (2001) me and my girlfriend, her brother and his 6 years son, had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant. Through the work I do, I travel quite a lot around the world and dining is many times a "must", which sometimes does not give me any enjoyment at all. During our brief vacation in Jordan, we visited your restaurant, and I must admit that the meal was one of the best I ever had. The service was indeed very friendly (especially appreciated by the "little" man), so I would very much like to thank you all - only a pity you are so far so far away!!
