• Moms Go Wild…to Wild Jordan

  • We all very much enjoyed our visit. The setting was magnificent, tea was delicious, and the staff were attentive and coped well with the mass influx of people. The presentation by Chris Johnston was interesting and informative and I hope will have encouraged people to join the RSCN. I think this will prove a very popular event.

  • When I saw the article and photos of the Wild Jordan Nature Shop & Coffee Shop, of The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, in JO Magazine (August 2003), I fell in love with the concept and place immediately. My three consecutive visits with my family and friends proved a beautiful experience…..What fascinated me when I read the menu were the local names. The Moujeb .. so & so..dish or Wadi ..so & so... Suddenly I felt how offended I had been when I go to all restaurants in Amman and have replicas of menus from other countries, never an innovative input. The platters were original and healthy! You are taking muesli, natural honey, skimmed milk and fresh strawberries ingredients. So if you are on a diet (or for-ever attempting to do so like me!) you'd feel less guilty. Value for money is great ...

  • So, my family and I went to the Wild Nature Cafe. We really liked the concept, design and staff…… The cafe itself is lovely. A bit small--and some tables have better views than others--but c'est la vie. The food was overall pretty tasty… One of us tried the strawberry drink, and found it yum-yum….. We ordered the chicken sandwich, which my sister described as "clean." Another sister enjoyed the "Mujib" chicken wrap, which she thought could have been a little more substantial, but still tasty. We didn't really understand why it was called a "Mujib" wrap, though…… The whole-wheat spaghettini was tasty, and the vegetables well-cut and fresh. Very yummy. The prime medallion with spaghetti vegetables was a great treat--though we did wonder about the health-consciousness of such an offering…….The fruit salad was grrrreat.
