Recycling at ATICO Fakhreldin Group

ATICO Fakhreldin Group began its trial recycling program on March 10th, 2023 as a mandatory sustainable project executed by the Jordan Restaurant Association and supported by USAID. Wild Jordan Center, 1st circle, Ren Chai and Yoshi, 4th circle were the pioneers to start this program, shortly after Kebab Express and Solaya Restaurant and Lounge followed suit. Several training sessions by Development Inc., the designated recycling company, were given to our teams to help them understand the process that they need to go through. In order to make sure the glass, cans and plastic are handled  and separated correctly.

Eng. Duaa Al Suliman, Quality Assurance Supervisor, headed this initiative and had the opportunity to attend more than one workshop and event including the Recycling Conference & Exhibition, related to recycling and ways to reduce waste. She was very impressed by other regional countries and their own recycling and reducing waste programs and was very excited about the prospects that lay ahead of  ATICO Fakhreldin Group and the commitment to recycling. Eng. Duaa is optimistic about moving forward, “We worked on recycling with Wild Jordan Center, Yoshi, & Ren Chai, (as a start), and the results were just perfect. I hope …. we (continue to) meet the standards.”
